This module illustrates basic concepts in Pavlovian conditioning. The module demonstrates different temporal arrangements of how conditioned (CS) and unconditioned stimuli (US) can be paired in a Pavlovian conditioning procedure. A graphic illustration of the classic Pavlovian contingency space is used to control and investigate different types of conditioning arrangements (e.g. excitation, inhibition, truly random control ). It can also demonstrate conditioning with simple and compound stimuli.
