This module demonstrates basic schedules of reinforcement as employed in
a variety of operant and discrimination procedures involving animals and humans. This
module implements the classic schedules of reinforcement and allows the students to
graphically monitor their behavior in response to these different schedules. You can
choose from:
Variable Interval
Variable Ratio
Fixed Interval
Fixed Ratio
and several more complex schedules
Besides demonstrating each of possible contingencies between responding
and reinforcement, the module also provides real time graphic displays for both response
rate and cumulative responses. This combination of features allows students to experience
directly the relations between the look (graphic output) and feel (their responding to the
key) of behavior under these schedules.
