This module allows the student to examine and hypothesize about several different types of stimulus-outcome contingencies. It allows students to actively explore how humans perceive and learn about different types of cause-and-effect relations. There are 9 different problems in the module, ranging from fairly easy to challenging. These problems make direct connections to the highly similar issues explored in the domain of Pavlovian conditioning (excitation, probability learning, occasion setting).
