Examples of Texture Stimulus Baseline Displays
The baseline texture display types were much the same as tested in many of our target localization experiments. In these displays, an 7 x 7 region of contrasting elements (differing in color or shape) was randomly located within this larger display. The identity of the 20 colors and 34 shapes used to make these displays are randomized from trial to trial, so no two successive displays are every the same (or very, very rarely, OK). These examples are very close to the size shown to the pigeons. Back to this article's home page
